Why the Free Plan Does Not Run Out
Most free plans are a countdown with better manners. This one is not, and the reasoning is more selfish than it sounds.
A lot of free plans are a trial wearing a different hat. Fourteen days, or enough usage to get you invested, and then a wall. Vera's does not do that, and the reason is not generosity.
The product needs time to be any good
Everything Vera is worth using for depends on it knowing your week, and it cannot know your week in a fortnight. A trial that ends before the memory has anything in it is a trial that shows you the worst version of the product.
So the free plan is a real one
You get Vee and the everyday parts of the app for as long as you like, with a daily message allowance. It is meant to be liveable on its own rather than a teaser.
What paying adds
The rest of the cast, characters you make yourself, far higher limits, more voice, and the camera reading things for you. Exactly what is in each is on the pricing section, which is the only place on the site that quotes a figure.
The trade
Fewer people pay in the first week. More people are still here in the third month. That is the bet.
