Why it exists

Nothing knew anything about me.

Most of us pay for a handful of apps to run one life. Tasks in one, habits in another, then the budget, the meals, the journal, the calendar. None of them have ever heard of each other.

So the habit tracker does not know you skipped the gym because the week was brutal. The budget app does not know the takeaway went up because you were flat out. Every one of them is holding one corner of the same picture, and none of them can see it.

The assistants were worse. Clever, and completely blank every time you opened one. I got tired of explaining myself to something that had already forgotten.

So I built the thing I wanted: a few characters who talk differently, one memory between them that actually holds, and the rest of the week in the same place.

What it stands for

Principles, not slogans.

Four things that hold, whatever else changes.

Private by default

What you tell Vera is encrypted and locked to you. It is never sold and never used to train anything. You can export it whenever you want, and if you leave, it is deleted rather than archived.

One memory, not ten apps

Your sleep, your week, your habits and your spending are the same life, so they sit in the same place. Tell any character something and the rest of them know it.

A cast, not a chatbot

Each of them talks differently and has their own voice. Pick whoever suits the day. None of them are pretending to be your partner, and there is no romance lane.

Designed, built and run here by one person. The support email goes to me and I read all of it, which is both the good news and the bad news.
